Professional Aquascaping!?-I love aquascaping, and for those who are unsure of what that is, google it and you will see, I also have some pictures aswell.

I was wondering if it is something worth pursuing? If there is many people out there interested in getting their tank done up and making it look beautiful?

I am a hobbyist fish breeder and aquascaper of my own tanks and I would love to do it more often, so I thought, why not offer the service (obviously there will be a fee for any items such as plants, gravel, sand, driftwook etc that you want in your tank, as I will go searching for the perfect items all around melbourne) to the public!

It will suit the home, office, business such as a cafe!

You dont even have to own a tank, I will find the perfect one for you and we can arrange prices, pick up etc.

You dont need hundreds of liters, aquascaping can be done in a bowl if you like!

If I were to pursue this idea it will begin in either late 2010 or early 2011

Would there be any interest? What do you think?

Best Answer: Yes! People do pay for this. I ran a company called "Aquascapes" for years and we specialized in tank setup and maintenance. We had many business customers, and quite a few residential customers. We worked out deals with the local fish stores and got a discount on goods as well. We focused on reef tanks, but also did some really nice freshwater systems for people.

You will not have enough business on setup and design only, unless you are in a very large city. That is why you also have the tank maintenance where you can keep making money off the tank.
